After watching Susan (crosspecans) video on her eating some figs I wanted to try them. It was only a week later that I happen to see at Stop N Shop in the produce section next to the berries — figs!!! I bought 3, so excited to try them. Well, when I got home I ate one and boy, was it tasty!!

I am just so happy the raw food diet/lifestyle is encouraging me to try and experiment with different foods. I could never imagine myself popping a fig or two to eat as a snack! But now, I have found such a lovely piece of food to eat

Romaine, dandelion greens (too bitter, don’t like them in salad), shaved carrots, broccoli, red onion, asparagus, cucumber with a dressing I made up: smashed cherry tomatoes, garlic and lemon juice. VERY GOOD
